the overall plot was rather unique, and freaky

my sundays usually involve wedding receptions with family and friends
had 2 invitations for today
i'm so full, i can't stuff any dinner in

just finish watching america's most smartest model
and boy was it gooood

the whole mission to deny the models are dumb cliche was superb
their edge and callback challenges really distinguished the smart models from the ridiculously dumb ones
thank god for their good looks, else they'll just be a piece of rock
ahahaha

and so the winner (VJ) is an inexperienced american male model who played with total unjust
he was manipulative and scheming throughout the whole competition
i hate the judges

my favourite was the runner up, andre birleanu, a russian born top model with internationally renowned modeling agency, boss models
he was by far more talented and clearly knows his stuff
meaning that they're equal in the smarts department

it's so obvious that he didn't get the title cause he's russian
DUH!

my day started really early on tuesday
got up and dressed by 0830hrs
then called up sahfihi's mum to tell her that i'll be reaching in half an hours time
got my brother to send me to hougang and then to tp
thank you abang, you saved my moolahs from cab rides

it was weird having to lie to sahfihi
keeping him in the dark was so not easy
but on the good side of things, his mum was awesomely cooperative
=D

and of all possible plans in sunny singapore, we decided to sing our hearts lungs out
a pretty interesting choice if i may say so myself

i just had red tea (double pearl) and i'm oh so bloated
the pearl was especially chewy today
hmm

initial plans for today was to mope around the house
and recover from yesterday's hyper birthday celebration
the day that i've been planning so hard for came and passed
t'was a fantab day as planned

as i was saying, i so wanted to wake up at noon, no less
cause i kinda deserved it right?

mumsie just HAD to enter my room around 9 to open the windows letting the morning sun in

so i reluctantly got up and showered
after which she suggested a trip to jb for more groceries shopping, taking ~~pubic~~ public transport
omgggg, i soooo sayang my mum

well, the delish dunkin' donuts were a consolation

on a brighter note, i finally got my ass off the bed for a loooong run
*wags eyebrows*

got up and running for 45 minutes around the estate
from my place to yew tee area and back
stretches and core exercises were done back at home
boy did it feel good, i miss those training days

well, a really weird dream last night spurred me on actually
it went like this:
fresh from a bath and i was putting my clothes on when i saw my reflection in the mirror
something about me looked different today, specifically in the abdominal area
i took a closer look and realised that i had 3 pac abs! yes. only 3!
i freaked and looked down to count again
my eyes weren't playing tricks man, i had 3 pac abs in a peculiar triangular arrangement!

ahahahaha

i vowed to start my workout going again inclusive of core exercises
no way am i settling for a freakish 3 pac abs
oh please please let me maintain these muscles o' mine

i've discovered something

australian persimmons tastes SOOO awesome smawesome!
best served chilled cause they're delightfully crunchy and sweet
like ice cold green tea on a blistering summer day
or warm cheesy lasagne served fresh from the oven
heavenly

you get my drift

the persimmons imported here are either crunchy and tart or squishy and sweet
i can never forget the unpleasant aftertaste from that one fateful bite
yuck

the carton of persimmon and golden kiwi that daddy brought home have been equally distributed
and i just cut the last four persimmons in the fridge
how sad

this calls for another trip down under
wishful thinking much?

we went to angsana to collect the RM7000 worth of electronic appliances that daddy won in melacca
it includes the digital built-in induction cooker and the bagless water filter vacuum cleaner
and as usual, daddy was persuaded to purchase more items
so we ended up bringing home all these

gawd, all three of us were sniffing and sipping our drinks like rural drought victims
embarrassing

the real reason we were there was to head over to golden landmark hotel
daddy wanted to go to the travel agency and enquire about the bali trip
mom and dad are going on another honeymoon on their 26th anniversary
i'm so jealous

oh well, at least i got what i wanted from huzah boutique
i say $150 well spent

let's escape to that faraway place

and so the quest took place yesterday
and as mentioned, my teammates were really great
:)

we met as early as 0730hrs at dhoby ghaut mrt station
upon registration, we found out that there was about 250 participating teams
-.-"

the actual race started at 1000hrs
so go figure on the amount of time we had to idle away
everyone had different race booklets
meaning we won't be crashing into each other most of the time

our team (#29)'s 6 checkpoints were:
`botanical gardens
`dxo
`bedok bus interchange
`tampines mall
`changi village
`downtown east

wasted the most amount of time at the botanical gardens
stewpid sealing wax palm
grrrr

the rest of the checkpoints had pretty easy activities
we were done within 5 minutes max
it was the travelling that was k.i.l.l.e.r
our total race time was 4 hours
excluding the amount of time deducted/bonus points etc.

all in all, i had a smashing good time during the whole event
i'm glad i've kick started my running routine
must start running again la
maintain maintain those muscles baby

i don't get it
is God trying to protect me or are my gut instincts just afraid of mishaps?

the motorbike license

i've been contemplating about this issue, again
like serious weighing out the pros and cons of the said decision
daddy gave me his support
in return on my readyness of getting AND bearing with scrapes and bruises

i was so ready to enrol myself for a class 2B license
i even asked him again about it on the way to grandmas'
(also initiating for moolahs )

unfortunately, my aunt started her storytelling session
she JUST HAD TO tell us about her friend who just met with an accident
a 40 year old single mum riding a 250cc bike, hit and run accident at 2pm, shattered shin bone
gaping wound, doctor couldn't find her bone, 12cm of bone missing, may result in amputation
like seriously? how scary is that?

and to think that i was planning enrol myself the following week?

i admit that i kinda backed up from my decision
i thought about the falls that daddy and my brother had suffered
and it just made me wanna run far away

i guess it all boils down to experience
but to OWN experience, we've gotta earn it
how annoyingly logical is that?
urgh

and it also doesn't help that i've been chancing upon blogs
that showed friends/family members who have just met with a motorcycle accidents
i get so timid all over again

it feels so near yet so far
like you see that kate spade wallet that you've been wanting
yet you know that it's not worth burning your month's salary on it

and since i'm already done with ANTM cycle 10

it was huge and apparently very white

betcha that'll be a sight to remember

thankfully the fruit farm he visited was beautiful

i know i’m so very late, but believe it or not
i finally sat my ass down to watch this overly hyped-about movie

i was enthralled by this movie once it screened in cinemas here
and so out of pure curiosity, i assume
i decided to watch it

now about the movie:

`surprisingly i like the character of fahri in the movie
`but still, i love maria more
(her hair, her eyes, her gorgeous face)
`basically great casting to me :)
`the scene when fahri’s prison-mate reminds him of how God truly exists by giving him obstacles in life
and that islam is all about patience and acceptance
(inspirational message)
`fast-paced movie but a little boring at the beginning
`the way maria dies in the movie was so serene yet heartbreaking

this religious film is a fresh idea from the indonesians, considering the crazy amount of indon horror movies
oh and one more thing, i love the soundtrack

3.4/5 popcorns

before we get to the obscene amount of pictures below
i'mma rate the movies that i caught recently

it's a boy girl thing

it isn't the first soul-switching act we've seen in the market
but i've gotta give this one a nod of approval
the humour and chemistry of the main leads were so believable
that it forgave the predictable ending

owen wilson didn't forget his charm and wit this time around too
but his interaction with the kids showed a more vulnerable approach
the plot was simple yet cutesy
i would gladly sit through a re-run anytime

i've never been a fan of saiful apek cause he isn't really easy on the eys
butbutbut! this show is a MUST WATCH!
i absolutely love the script and soundtrack
sometimes i find myself humming to the aspalela song tune
awesome production, if i may say so myself

now this is one inspiring reel
for a show that took 4 whole years to complete, i salute the actors
having no stunt double is a real feat to overcome
seeing how much bloodshed and icepacks there were on set, i shuddered

the plot of the show was pretty straight forward
however the fighting skills of jeeja yanin was superb baybeh
made me wanna get up and practice those moves myself
fu-yoh

# uno - graduation day on 23rd May

colours of the day were beige, brown, black and gold for me

and so the '05 cst batch has graduated
as much as i wanna be all emomush like other graduates do, it's pretty absurd
cause we'll see each other again in NIE cum july
so all i have to say is, let's enjoy this holiday while it lasts laydees!

# dos - sending daddy off to perth for golf trip

on the night of the 23rd, daddy had a 8d7n golf trip to perth, aussie
so the golf buddies are heading down under
he had a 0120hrs flight on SQ 225
so we were at T3 by 2230hrs

hung around while sightseeing till approx. 0030hrs
finally slept at 0200hrs after a hot shower

for the past few days, we've been having live web cam convos with daddy
i'm just glad he's having a great time
he deserves it

# tres - SPH Family Day Funnival @ Singapore Discovery Centre

the brother's workplace had a family day on the 24th @ SDC
since he had extra tix, we all went for it
my saturday morning was a blast and it was worth waking up at 0900hrs

and so the drama continues
i guess it doesn't suffice knowing the results without watching the process
at least i agree with the winner this time around
